Desde hace tiempo la moda escandinava me llama mucho la atención, pero desde que el verano pasado tuve la oportunidad de visitar esa zona del norte de Europa ahora todavía más.

Estos son algunos de los looks de la diseñadora danesa Stine Goya para esta primavera/verano, me encanta esa limpieza y pureza que llegan a transmitir gracias a sus colores y tejidos y la fuerza que tienen sus estampados. No es de extrañar que de un sitio tan precioso como es Copenhague salgan cosas tan estupendas.

Since long time ago Scandinavian fashion has caught my attention, but since last Summer I had the opportunity to visit this part of northern Europe even more.
These are some of the looks of the Danish designer Stine Goya for this Spring / Summer, I love the cleanliness and purity that come to pass because of their colors and fabrics and their strength prints. It is not surprising that from a site as Copenhagen can came wonderful things as these.

Blanco, color que en gran parte del mundo simboliza paz y pureza.

Para mi el color blanco representa  calma, equilibrio y relax. Por ello lo veo uno de los colores más adecuados para crear un entorno, entornos que envueltos en este color pueden llegar a ayudar a que fluya más la energía, la creatividad y la inspiración.

Espero que a vosotros os inspiren también estas imágenes.

White color in much of the world symbolizes peace and purity.
For me the color white represents balance, calm and relax. Therefore I see the most appropriate colors to create an environment. Environments involved in this color can help to flow more energy, creativity and inspiration.

Da gusto ver como arte se convierte en arte.

La semana pasada se pudo ver en Londres la colección para el próximo invierno de Mary Katrantzou. Una magnífica exhibición de cambio de papeles dentro del mundo de los objetos, mostrando como la más elegante porcelana puede vestir a la mujer de la manera más sofisticada.

Katrantzou a través de magníficos estampados rescata piezas de porcelana, como puede ser porcelana de Meissen, piezas de Cloisonné ó cerámica  de Ming. Las cuales se realzan a través de esplendidas siluetas en forma de numerosos vestidos, algunos de ellos con formas vaporosas, faldas muy trabajadas y preciosos pantalones que invitan a soñar.

Es de agradecer el que haya personas, en este caso Katrantzou que arriesguen tanto para demostrar una parte de su visión ante todo lo que les rodea.

It's nice to see how art becomes art.

Last week we saw in London the Mary Katrantzou collection for next winter.  A magnificent display of changing roles within the world of objects, showing how the most elegant porcelain can dress a women in the most sophisticated way.

Katrantzou through magnificent prints, rescues porcelain pieces, such as Meissen porcelain, Cloisonné pieces or Ming ceramics. Which are enhanced by splendid silhouettes as many dresses, some with vaporous forms, worked skirts and precious pants that invite you to dream.

It is appreciated that there are people, in this case Katrantzou to risk so much for showing a part of his vision about everything around them.

En el mundo del cine hemos visto innumerables veces historias de amor adolescente en diferentes versiones y con diferentes desenlaces. El amor adolescente es esa etapa que algunos la recordamos con añoranza y dulzura, ese momento inocente en el cual nos dejábamos llevar por el impulso más incontrolable pero a la vez el más sincero, el más espontáneo. Fuera correspondido o no, ese primer amor, esa primera sensación de sentir y ver las miles de sensaciones, momentos y sentimientos que se pueden compartir con otra persona, el simple hecho de llegar a ese descubrimiento es lo que hace que esa etapa merezca un paréntesis dentro del crecimiento personal de cada uno.

Eso si, lo único que cambiaría de ese momento es el que hubiera podido llevar algunas de estas maravillas que se han presentado entre Nueva York y ahora en Londres en esta semana de la moda. Entonces si que hubiera sido aún más bonito ese momento…



In the world of cinema we've seen countless times teen love stories in different versions and with different outcomes. Teenage love is the stage that some people remember with longing and tenderness, that innocent time in which we let ourselves go by the uncontrollable impulse but also the most honest, the more spontaneous. Outside reciprocated or not, that first love, that first feel sensation and see the thousands of feelings, moments and emotions that can be shared with another person, just getting to that discovery is what makes that this stage deserves a break within the personal growth of each one.

The only thing I would change this time is that which could have wore some of the wonders that have arisen between New York and now in London Fashion Week’s. So if it had been even more beautiful this time...
