STEED LORD!!!!!!

El grupo islandés afincado en Los Ángeles, Steed Lord, es un torrente de energía musical y  visual, pero su inventiva no solo queda ahí ya que lo que podríamos denominar como “agitadores creativos” abarcan también terrenos como la moda, estilismo, fotografía, dirección artística, increíbles puestas en escena…

Está claro todo este despliegue de imaginación a de tener un trasfondo ya que sus componentes KALI (la cantante, ¡vaya diva musical y de la moda!) MEGA and DEMO han tenido siempre relación con las artes y especialmente con la moda ya que se nota que tienen un gusto extraordinario hacía ella, especialmente hacía lo vintage, años 80 y ropa deportiva de los 90. Tal vez por todo ello han llegado a diseñar colecciones para algunas marcas islandesas así como una de las líneas de ropa para H&M en el año 2007.

A la espera de poderlos ver pronto en directo aquí os dejo uno de sus últimos vídeos, toda una delicia para el estilismo y el diseño de moda en general, ¡¡inspiraros y disfrutarlo!!!

The Icelandic group based in Los Angeles,  Steed Lord, is a musical and visual rush of energy, but those “creative agitators” also cover areas such as fashion, styling, photography, art direction, fantastic  live performances…

All this imagination has a background, due to all the components from the band, KALI, MEGA and DEMO they grew up in the entertainment and art world, learning their craft at an early age. And they have a special relation with fashion because it shows they have a unique taste on it, especially with the vintage clothes from the 80’s and 90’s sport wear. Maybe for all of this they have come to design collections for some Icelandic brands and one of the clothing lines for H&M in 2007.

Hace unas semanas se presentaron las colecciones resort a escena, pero después de ver la colección resort de Celine para la próxima temporada no me pude resistir a dedicarle un post.

Ver esta colección te transmite una sensación de limpieza, pureza e integridad total. Pensando que es una colección resort no ha habido detalle que se les escapara, esos cortes tan limpios y que parece que sientan como un guante, uso de materiales como la gasa, napa, algodón... consiguen transmitir una suavidad y confort inexplicable desde una pantalla. Su variedad de estampados acompañados de una exhibición fantástica de complementos hacen de esta colección un ejercicio totalmente completo. Creo que no hace ni falta irse de vacaciones al hemisferio Sur para poder disfrutar de estas preciosidades… Gracias Celine!

A few weeks ago resort collections were showed on the scene, but after seeing the resort Celine collection for next season I couldn’t resist dedicate a post about it.

Looking this collection conveys a sense of cleanliness, purity and total integrity. Thinking about is a resort collection, there has been no detail escapes from them, those cuts so cleans and feel so comfortable, use of materials like chiffon, leather, cotton… manages to convey an inexplicable softness and comfort from one screen. The variety of patterns accompanied by a fantastic display of accessories make this collection a fully complete exercise. I think is not even necessary go for holidays to the South Hemisphere for can enjoy these gorgeous clothes.

Estoy segura que si alguien estuvo especialmente por Londres en el verano 2007 esta canción le lleve a algún que otro recuerdo de esos días, seguro que en muchísimos otros lugares no pasó desapercibida tampoco, pero me remito a mi propia experiencia, ya que esta canción me recuerda a esos pocos días soleados en la capital británica y que en los cuales querrías hacer las 100.000 cosas que te puede llegar a ofrecer esa ciudad, a esas noches alrededor de Old Street y Shoreditch.. y todo ello al son de esta melodía, por que si ves actuar a esta mujer “Lovefoxxx” es imposible que no te contagies de su energía y sus ganas de diversión que muestra cada minuto, tanto musicalmente, como a través de su puesta en escena o como a través de sus estilismos, estilismos que irradian alegría, fantasía e ilusión y dan un golpe fresco a todo lo supuestamente establecido hoy en día.

Dentro de poco Lovefoxxx y el resto de la banda de Sao Paolo, Cansei de Ser Sexy vuelven a la carga, en agosto nos traen La Liberación su nuevo disco que espero y por el nombre que tiene el disco tendremos energía para rato y una buena dosis de inspiración.

Soon Lovefoxxx and the rest of the band from Sao Paolo, Cansei de Ser Sexy are back to the load, in August  they bring us “La Liberación” they new disc, I hope and by the name of the album will have a lot energy and a lot of inspiration from them.

La marca neoyorkina Tibi, presentó a principios de esta semana su colección Resort para el próximo año 2012. Una colección compuesta por delicadas prendas, prendas con formas rectas y caídas que llegan a transmitir una gran suavidad, pureza, delicadeza y una sensación de confort y bienestar. Simulan un guante alrededor de todo el cuerpo y sus colores irradian entre la claridad de esos días en los que el hemisferio norte cubierto por el frío, disfruta de la temporada veraniega en el hemisferio sur, porque de ello se tratan las colecciones Resort.

Hoy en día la pasarela se rinde a sus pies y casas como Jason Wu, Andrew Gn, Giorgio Armani e Issa lo convierten como un “must” indispensable para esta temporada, dándole fuerza tanto en los looks más sofisticados, como para el look más casual.

Y por fin el esperado y ansiado verano, ¡ya nos viene a visitar! Que gusto cuando notamos esa sensación y ese aroma que te hace sentir en la estación más deseada del año…  llegan esas ganas de estar todo el día en la calle, terracitas, hacer de las chanclas calzado universal, de ponerse morena y hacer culto al astro Sol, de sentir el aroma del mar y disfrutar de su majestuosidad, de descansar entre la arena y las olas…

Después de todo este remolino de sensaciones hoy me he acordado de una editorial que realice hace ya un tiempo y a la cual le tengo un gran cariño. Editorial en la cual tuve la gran suerte de realizarla junto a dos grandes profesionales, Anabel Luna ante la cámara y Ruben Mármol con la peluquería y el maquillaje y aquí una servidora como estilista.

How nice when we noticed that feeling and aroma that makes you feel at the station more desired of the year … we want to spend all day at the street, terraces, make from the sandals the universal footwear, sunbathe and worship the Sun star, feel the sea and enjoy its majesty, get rest between the sand and the waves…

After all this whirlwind of feelings today I remembered of an editorial that I made ​​some time ago and to which I have great affection. Editorial in which I had the good fortune to do it with two great professionals, Anabel Luna with the camera and Ruben Marmol with the make-up and hair and I as a stylist.
